The description of the dahabieh C La Vie EGYPT
The Dahabiya is a type of traditional Egyptian sailing boat, used for tourist cruises on the Nile. The name "Dahabiya" means "little golden boat" in Arabic, and it is often seen as a symbol of luxury and elegance.Historically, the Dahabiya was used as a means of transport for wealthy European tourists visiting Egypt in the 19th century. The boat offered a comfortable and scenic travel experience, cruising the Nile with white sails and ornate wooden decks.Over the years, the Dahabiya has become less popular due to the rise of cruising on larger, more modern ships. However, in the 1990s there was a resurgence of interest in traditional boats, and the Dahabiya became a popular option for Nile cruises, offering travelers a more intimate and authentic travel experience.Modern Dahabiyas are equipped with all modern conveniences, while retaining their traditional charm and elegance. They often have spacious cabins, sunny decks and comfortable lounges, as well as delicious cuisine offering local and international cuisine.Today, the Dahabiya has become an icon of tourism in Egypt, offering visitors a unique experience to learn about the ancient history of the country while navigating the famous Nile River. The description of the dahabieh C La Vie EGYPT 2Number of Cabins:-8 Cabins with Large beds and double beds. + 2 Suites + 1 Cabin for Guide8 Cabins of 15 m + bathroom 4 m1 Suite of 17 m + bathroom 4 mDahabiya length 51 m - Width 8mCabins:-- Cabins with large panoramic view windows - Safe - TV - Private bathrooms with shower - Traditional Egyptian cuisine - Water filter - Air conditioning - Laundry and cleaning service - Hairdryer, Oriental lounge area - Soft drinks - Call medical -

The Great Pyramid of Khufu is a true living miracle as it is the last intact structure of the seven wonders of the ancient world, it was constructed in 2580 BC in 20 years using 2,300,000 pieces of limestone each weighing 2.5 tons and a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers. The great pyramid stands at the height of 147 m (481 ft) which made it the tallest building in the world for 3800 years. The great pyramid is still the source of great ability to turn heads due to its complex interior compared to its massive magnitude.
The Great Sphinx has stood its ground for countless years acting a source of inspiration for many artists, poets from all over the world as its origin and age is shrouded with a lot of mystery. It has the shape of a mythical creature called the sphinx which has the body of a lion and the head of a man who probably was king Khafre to represent power and wisdom.
The Sphinx has a height of 73 m (240 ft) and 20 m (66 ft) and was carved out of single limestone rock in only 3 years using about 100 free skilled workers.
The Valley Temple is where immortality was achieved using the Mummification process, the valley was constructed within Egypt old kingdom (2686 2134 BC). It is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites and the source of great information about the mummification of ancient Egypt. The valley is made entirely from limestone & granite and holds magnificent diorite statues of king Khafre.

The Christian religion was introduced by Saint Mark around 45 AD, and so a Coptic community – Coptic being a term referring specifically to Christians in Egypt – began to develop. The Coptic Quarter is best known for housing many churches on a small perimeter Saint-Serge Church is one of the oldest Christian churches, built around the 3rd or 4th century AD.
The Church was named Saint-Serge in homage to a former war general who converted to Christianity. The Christians built a church at this location precisely because, according to belief, it is in this place where there was a cave before that the Holy Family would have taken refuge.
The Sainte-Marie Church or Hanging Church is a beautiful monument, and it is reached by stairs preceded by a corridor where mosaics retracing biblical scenes. This Church is nicknamed the Hanging Church because it is built above the trunks of palm trees that support it like stilts and these trunks date from the 4th century and still keep the Church today. The splendid interior has a thick marble pulpit supported by 13 pillars, representing Jesus and his twelve apostles. One of the columns is black, representing Judas, who betrayed Jesus. The Church houses a Christian fresco painted in a very precious vault, as it dates from the 4th century, and is in good condition, without ever being restored. In the main hall, a Coptic icon depicts the Virgin Mary with Jesus in her arms. We think she follows us with her gaze when we walk around her. The Copts call it the Egyptian Mona Lisa, although the resemblance is remote. Ben Ezra Synagogue. This synagogue is a true architectural masterpiece. From the outside, it is nothing exceptional, but the interior makes all its interest; it is simply sumptuous. The first floor, as is the general layout, is characteristic of a Coptic church. Indeed, the synagogue previously belonged to the Christians, who were obliged to sell it because they could no longer maintain it.
